Jim Dunn is a business professional who is widely recognised as a communicator and skills developer. He conducts Life Change workshops and key issue seminars on important, life related topics. His background is in Engineering and Behavioural Psychology. He is a graduate of Glasgow University and an associate of the Royal College of Science and Technology. Following a lengthy career in the UK Steel Industry he now consults with Businesses, Educational establishments, local Communities and Churches in the UK and in Europe working with individuals and groups to promote positive change.
His work reflects his commitment to Christ and the Christian way and is underpinned by his belief in the life affirming, life enhancing truths of Christianity.
He is the author of several books including ‘The Effective Leader’, ‘The Smart Guide to Work’ and a fiction series for teenagers.
Jim has considerable experience in the field of Behavioural Psychology. In 2001 he joined The Pacific Institute, an international consultancy group specializing in culture change and organisational development. He currently has the role of Project Director.
He is active in Church leadership and engages in significant amounts of Christian activity. He brings regular Bible teaching on important life related issues and his vision is to promote the Christian Scriptures in ways that focus on its life changing potential
Jim serves on the International Board of ‘The Way of Hope Foundation’, a Christian Charity based in Budapest, Hungary. The Charity is dedicated to improving the spiritual and material welfare of orphaned and disadvantaged youngsters living in State run Orphanages in Hungary, Serbia and Ukraine.
Jim has a great interest in Country Gospel music and sings frequently at concerts up and down the UK raising funds to help support the work of the ‘Way of Hope Foundation’. He has produced three music CDs
